312日,外籍博士后入职培训会在紫金港校区顺利举行。来自22个国家的50余位外籍博士后参加了培训。会议由人力资源处专聘副处长潘荣辉主持。

On March 12, the orientation meeting for international postdoctoral researchers was held at the Zijingang Campus, Zhejiang University. More than 50 international postdoctoral fellows from 22 countries attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Pan Ronghui, Special Appointed Deputy Director of the Human Resources Office. 

人力资源处副处长马宇光对外籍博士后加入浙江大学表示热烈欢迎。他介绍了学校深厚的办学历史、博士后队伍国际化建设成效以及近年来学校在博士后培养方面推出的一系列支持举措。他希望外籍博士后尽快融入校园生活、潜心开展科研工作,并鼓励大家主动了解中国文化,积极促进中外文化交流。

Ma Yuguang, Deputy Director of the Human Resources Office, warmly welcomed the international postdoctoral researchers to Zhejiang University. He introduced the university’s long-standing academic tradition, the achievements in the internationalization of the postdoctoral team, and a series of supportive measures implemented in recent years. He expressed his sincere hope that the international postdoctoral researchers would quickly campus life and devote themselves to research, and encouraged them to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and and serve as bridges for cross-cultural communication between China and the world.

科学技术研究院院长助理蒋明凯介绍了国家自然科学基金项目申报工作。他从申请流程、项目类型及申报注意事项等方面进行了系统的讲解,并就项目申报中的相关具体事宜与大家进行了深入交流与讨论。

Jiang Mingkai, Assistant to the Dean of the Sci-Tech Academy, introduced the application process for projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He delivered a comprehensive explanation and guidance on the application procedures, project categories, and key considerations for submission, and engaged in discussions with the participants on specific issues related to proposal preparation.

人力资源处博士后工作办公室周盈彦老师介绍了博士后的日常管理工作,重点解读了在站博士后职业道德与学术规范、在站管理制度、待遇及考核管理、博士后基金申报等内容。

Zhou Yingyan from the Postdoctoral Affairs Office of the Human Resources Office introduced the daily administration of postdoctoral researchers. She gave a detailed explanation of professional ethics and academic norms, postdoctoral management policies, benefits and assessment requirements, as well as the application procedure for postdoctoral funding programs.

本次培训帮助新进站外籍博士后进一步了解了相关政策法规,增进了文化认同感与归属感,同时也搭建了沟通交流的平台,为他们顺利开展科研工作奠定了良好基础。

This orientation meeting helped the newly recruited international postdoctoral researchers become familiar with relevant policies and regulations, enhanced their cultural identity and sense of belonging, and provided a platform for communication and exchange. It also laid a solid foundation for them to begin their research smoothly at Zhejiang University.
