Official Overseas Travel
ü Temporary official trips under 180 days require pre-approval via ZJU Service Center (item Z1957).
ü Post-trip, faculty must submit a return application (item Z1775) within two weeks, including passport details, entry/exit records, and a trip report. Reimbursement is processed after reviews by the faculty’s unit, Office of Global Engagement, and Finance Office.
ü Postdoctoral researchers should obtain travel approval from supervisor/college.
n Issuance of Employment and Income Certificates - Certificates for employment, income, or specific purposes (e.g., loans, travel) can be requested online or at the Human Resources counter.
ü Self-Service: Use item Z1902 (Employment Verification) or Z1899 (Income Verification) on the service platform.
ü Authorized Delegates: Submit authorization letters and IDs for offline or online requests.
ü Special Cases: For private overseas travel or talent projects, submit via Z1990 or Z1902, with additional contact letters if required.

n Tax Payment for Foreign Faculty - Foreign faculty may be exempt from personal income tax under tax treaties. Required documents include a Taxpayer Information Form, tax certificate from the home country, work permit, passport, and employment contract.
