Onboarding Procedures
ZJU ensures a streamlined, transparent onboarding process for newly recruited faculty
n Reporting Process:
ü General Faculty: Complete formalities at the HR Talent Recruitment and Management Center (East 3rd Teaching Building, Zijingang Campus). Submit prior employment termination proof if applicable.
ü High-Level Talent: Report to the Office of Talent Management (East 3rd Teaching building, Office 117, Zijingang campus).
ü Postdoctoral Researchers: Report at the Postdoctoral Work Office. Post-onboarding steps: Obtain staff ID, campus card, email, housing, and parking permits via designated service windows (East 3rd Teaching Building, Zijingang Campus).

Foreign Work & Residence Permits
n Work Permit: Issued by Zhejiang Province Foreign Expert Bureau.
n Residence Permit: Apply within 30 days of entry via Hangzhou Public Security Bureau.
n Required documents:
ü Work Permit, passport/visa copies, accommodation proof, employer invitation, health certificate.
ü For family members: Marriage/birth certificates, passports, visas, photos.
