The publication of the Humanities and Social Science Research Projects of the Education Ministry in 2010
The assessment results of the Humanities and Social Science Research Projects of the Education Ministry in 2010 have been published on the internet of the Education Ministry on Nov. 16th. 46 projects of ZhejiangUniversity have been approved, 24 projects more than that of 2009, with the total sum of patronage surmounting to 3,500,000. Among them, there are 14 projects on programming fund and 32 projects on youth fund.  The total amount of the approved projects and the rate of increase are both the highest in these years.
From the perspective of the subjects involved in the approved projects, the projects proposed by ZhejiangUniversity cover up 19 subjects among the 24 involved subjects, which is the highest among all the universities in China. The subjects which have the most projects around the country are cross-subject (or integrated research), Chinese literature, and statistics. Besides, the cross-subjects/integrated research projects are all youth projects, which shows the strong ability of the young teachers in applying for the projects.  From the perspective of the distribution of the divisions which have the approved projects, all the art teaching and research faculties have projects being approved.
